Golf for Greys is a golf association based in the Algarve in Portugal. The association was formed by John Hawker and Eddie Pilkington in 2003 with the idea of bringing golfers together to enjoy a game of golf and meet new acquaintances, we have grown to over 2500 members. Golf for Greys obtained cheaper green fees with golf courses in the region by strength of numbers. Our members receive discounted green fees (up to 40%) at various courses in the region.
Membership is open to any age group and the annual cost is €70 to join and €50 per year thereafter to renew subscription. Junior membership (under 18 years) costs only €10. The cost of membership is easily recouped after playing once or twice with the discount card.
We hold weekly organised competitions for our members also at reduced green fees. Please see the competition schedule for details of dates, times, venues and prices. Membership to Golf for Greys also offers several non-golf discounts to members in the form of reduced fees on VIP lounge entry at selected Portuguese airports, private hospital care card, and many other discounts in selected restaurants and car hire.
